About the role
Currently, we are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our key client's growing team, a leading company specializing in data-driven insights and empowering users through innovative technology. The company delivers valuable market insights to top CPG companies, agencies, and e-commerce providers, and offers a B2C app, which allows users to control and earn from their own data. The company is dedicated to shaping the future of data-driven decision-making by ensuring user privacy and creating engaging, user-friendly experiences.
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who will lead and drive the development of a comprehensive application ecosystem. In this role, you will architect and build scalable applications, design robust backend APIs, and set technical standards across the board.
Your duties
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Architecting, designing, and implementing scalable backend solutions
-Leading technical decision-making and establishing best practices
- Designing and implementing backend endpoints and RESTful APIs using modern frameworks (e.g., Node.js with Express or similar) and serverless architectures (preferably AWS)
- Optimizing data flow, managing user authentication and authorization, and ensuring secure, scalable solutions
- Overseeing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment strategies to maintain a stable and efficient production environment
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Proactively identifying areas for improvement and troubleshooting complex issues across the technology stack
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Backend development experience with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies.
- Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch and Grafana.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js (TypeScript/JavaScript), Python, and SQL.
- Experience with databases such as Clickhouse and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- English language Upper Intermediate (B2) is a must.

- Experience in React Native
