About the role
Currently, we are seeking a Senior Front-end Engineer for our key client, a UK-based company leading the way in premium digital advertising and dedicated to delivering exceptional end-user experiences. The core mission is to bridge the gap between creative innovation and seamless publisher integration, offering best-in-class creative experiences that drive user engagement. As a Senior Front-end Engineer, you will play a key role in developing user-facing technologies that power the company’s creative digital advertising experiences, focusing on frontend engineering excellence and quality.
We are seeking a Senior Front-end Engineer focused on enhancing and optimizing the integration of creative advertising formats with publisher ad slots. Your primary goal will be to maximize user engagement through native, responsive, and interactive experiences. By collaborating closely with creative studios and engineering teams, you will develop and implement advanced technologies to deliver premium, seamless digital advertising experiences.
Your duties
As a Senior Front-end Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Maximize User Engagement: Design and implement innovative solutions that captivate and engage end-users across all devices and platforms.
- Seamless Publisher Integrations: Ensure smooth and efficient integration between creative experiences and publisher ad slots, enhancing ad delivery and performance.
- Enable Native Effects: Work to create native-like, unobtrusive ad experiences that blend seamlessly with publisher content to improve user interaction.
- Ensure Full Responsiveness: Design ad formats and experiences that are fully responsive, providing consistent performance and user experiences across different devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
- Collaborate with Creative Studios: Work closely with creative and design teams to integrate advanced creative studio technologies into ad formats, ensuring that the user experience remains engaging and innovative.
-Develop and Optimize Interactive Formats: Develop and enhance interactive advertising formats that resonate with users and drive engagement.
- Technical Integrations: Contribute to the development and optimization of tags, prebid adapters, and other technical components required for seamless advertising delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development with frameworks and technologies such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS
- 4+ years of experience with Vanilla JS
- Familiarity and deep knowledge of Svelte
- Proven experience in digital advertising, specifically focusing on user experience, engagement, and ad format innovation.
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including publisher platforms, ad formats, and programmatic technologies (e.g., prebid adapters, tags).
- Deep knowledge of advanced debugging techniques for frontend applications (CPU, GPU, Memory, Network, etc.), ensuring smooth performance and user experience.
- Ability to drive technical integrations and maintain responsiveness across multiple devices and platforms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally between creative, engineering, and publishing teams.
- English language upper intermediate (B2) is a must
Nice to have:
- Experience with NodeJS and Next.js.
