About the role
Currently, we are looking for a top Full Stack Developer (React.js + Node.js) for our key client, a UK-based company that is a major innovation-driven and straight-talking telephony provider to wholesale, enterprise, reseller and businesses in the UK and USA. With over 27 years of experience, they are committed to transparency and fairness, advocating for an open telecommunications marketplace that prioritizes their customers' interests. Their close-knit team is primarily based in the UK, with a few members joining them from other parts of the world.
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (React.js + Node.js) who will have a passionate interest in a wide range of technologies, be keen to learn, and enjoy experimenting with new technologies, libraries, and frameworks.
Your duties
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Working as a key member of our development team to design and build new products, as well as to maintain and improve our existing products.
- Building and maintaining both front-end and server-side applications written primarily in JavaScript/Node.js, as well as PHP and some other languages.
- Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Creating internal tools that can make our team more productive and efficient.
- Working with the wider DevOps team to containerise apps and improve CI pipelines.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues in existing software applications
- Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
- 4+ years of experience with Javascript
- 3+ years of experience with React.js
- 3+ years of experience with Node.js
- At least 1 year of experience with TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- English language upper intermediate (B2) is a must
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of PHP
