Tell us a bit about yourself.
Hi, I'm Gvantsa, Content Manager at Gegidze. I've been creatively active and obsessed with creating content since I was a teenager. After working hard on my skills, here I am, working for the leading company in the industry.
How and why did you join Gegidze?
When I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue working in the corporate world or as a freelancer, I just decided to check options on the Georgian market. Surprisingly, I came across a Job Opportunity at Gegidze that perfectly aligned with my values and vision for the future.
Pros and cons of working here?
The most important pro is the team: open-minded, supportive and easy to work with.
The con of working here is that I couldn't find a con yet. I'll definitely let you know if I will.
How do you approach challenges in life?
Honestly, I love them because that is exactly when your mind and stamina are trained. Even if you are totally alone in it, choosing to look at it as a puzzle rather than a problem helps you stop feeling like a victim and actually focus on the solution.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to have a similar career?
Don't wait for the inspiration; it comes while working.
Share a valuable lesson you've learned during your career.
The most important thing I've learned is that the modern work environment requires you to be in charge of your work. No matter what position you have in the company, It is crucial to be initiative and never wait till someone finds solutions instead of you.
What is the most interesting fact about you?
I nearly became a cabin crew for the biggest airline in the world. So random, right?
What are some of your interests or hobbies?
I love making YouTube videos; the whole process, from scripting to editing, is therapeutic.
Which fictional/real character resonates with you the most?
I would say Frodo Baggins from The Lord of The Rings. He is just a curious little hobbit wanting to discover the outside, extremely observant, brave and compassionate. He's able to stay calm and think clearly when others are panicking. Also, we are the same personality types out of 16, which makes me resonate with him even better.
What does success mean to you?
When you stop making excuses and find the strength to be disciplined in your work without being under someone's control.
What would it be if you could say one quote to humanity?
"The biggest risk you can take in life is not taking a risk."
