About the project
Currently, we are looking for a top GraphQL Engineer for our key client, which is a Cluj Napoca, Cluj, Romania based company that specializes in shaping the future of mobility with sustainable transport solutions. They design, manufacture, and sell premium products in the automotive industry. Our client company operates in over 150+ markets and employs 100,000+ people worldwide.
Currently, we are looking for a GraphQL Engineer to join our client company’s team of experienced engineers and implement a new GraphQL API to provide efficient data access for their client applications.
Your duties
As a GraphQL Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with backend developers and API designers to define the GraphQL schema
- Developing and implementing efficient GraphQL resolvers to retrieve data from various backend sources
- Optimizing GraphQL queries for performance and scalability
- Participating in code reviews and ensuring high code quality
- Writing unit and integration tests for your GraphQL implementation
- Documenting the GraphQL API for developers
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in GraphQL technology
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software development with strong backend experience with Typescript or Java (depending on the chosen GraphQL tool)
- Solid understanding of GraphQL concepts: schema design, resolvers, queries, mutations
- Experience with implementing GraphQL APIs in a production environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- English language upper intermediate (B2) is a must
Nice to have:
- Experience with RESTful APIs
