About the project
Currently, We are looking for a top WordPress Developer for our key client, which is a Berlin, Germany based company that was established in 2008 and focuses on website development with a rich history in corporate and advertising design. Evolving focus in 2014, our client specializes in guiding companies through rebranding processes, website relaunches, and strategic planning. With a universal skill set, our client offers end-to-end services from web design to backend coding. Currently, we are looking for WordPress Developer for the upcoming project that involves the relaunch of an outdated website belonging to a tax consultancy firm.
Your duties
As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating closely via WebRTC remote video calls for task communication, progress updates, and problem-solving.
- Having the flexibility for prolonged connectivity during project work.
- Focusing on coding tasks related to CMS backend development and frontend implementation based on Figma designs.
- Ensuring visibility of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and structure code modularly for easy maintenance.
- Optimizing image implementation with srcset and sizes attributes and potentially incorporating CSS animations for SVGs.
- Utilizing Vue.js, jQuery/Cash, Slider, Popup, and other libraries to enhance frontend interactivity.
- Estimating task durations beforehand for workload assessment.
- Accessing and utilizing Kanboard for project management and task tracking.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a WordPress Developer
- Working experience with JavaScript (CSS, HTM), Vue, PHP and Advanced Custom Fields.
- Basic knowledge of security aspects in programming
- Knowledge of Node. js, SSG/R frameworks for the JAMStack
- Experience with a charting library like chart.js or others
- Basic knowledge of how to work with bash/zsh/fish, SSH, (n)vim, Linux, Apache/nginx/LiteSpeed
- Knowledge of SCSS and Tailwind
- Experience with setting up Webpack or Parcel
- Experience with using Git
- English language upper intermediate (B2) is a must
Nice to have:
- Knowledge about SSH, command line tools
